These "squashed marbles" are 100% recycled glass, made in the USA. To make them, a dollop of molten glass is dropped onto a flat surface, where it is allowed to cool as it landed, so they are flat-backed, and rounded on the top side. They measure 1/2"-9/16" (12-14mm) and are available by-the-pound (approximately 150 pieces). They are opaque white and have a glossy, iridescent finish.
